Philips Fisio 820
Philips introduces its first color screen phone: the Fisio 820. Manufacturer's flagship product for 2002, this phone is intended for high-end segment.
The Fisio 820 is an alliance between new technology and stylish design. The screen will inform you Fisio 820 of the 256 colors (112 x 112 pixels) and allows you to display up to 9 lines. The keyboard has a 4-way center button (Cross Keys) on keys 2, 4, 6, 8. The validation key is on it through the 5 key. You will find the menu carousel from Philips that provides color animated icons.
Functionally, the Fisio 820 is equipped with the latest technological innovations:
• GPRS 4 +2 (transfer data 4 times faster)
• WAP Browser 1.2.1
• Compatible with Bluetooth technology (wireless)
• Standard SMS and EMS (SMS with icons and melodies)
Among the functions most "classical" include: built-in modem, voice features (recognition, commands, memo of 30 seconds), an internal phone book can hold up to 300 names, calendar, calculator, and writing T9 predictive input for SMS.
The other highlight of the Fisio 820 is the personalization of the phone: In addition to images presented in the phone, you can download the image or photo of your choice as a screen saver or wallpaper. So when the phone is in standby, you'll scroll loop pictures of your last vacation.
The Fisio 820 also allows you to download 10 ringtones in addition to the 20 already in the phone.
The battery life is outstanding for a phone with a color screen. The battery will let you use your phone until 5:30 in conversation and 400 hours standby (manufacturer data).
The Fisio 820 is a combination of technologies. If the colors on the screen may seem bland to some, the terminal still has many significant advantages.
