While the C6-00 is available for a few months, Nokia announced its successor by the name of C6-01, whose main novelty is the 3.2-inch AMOLED display (640 x 360 pixels) with technology CBD (ClearBlack Display).
The Nokia C6-01 is part of a design made of stainless steel and glass. It features a 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash and the possibility of capturing video in HD 720p. Memory is revised upwards since it can reach up to 340 MB, plus support for microSD cards (up to 32 GB) and 2GB card that is provided.
In terms of connectivity, there is the WiFi (version n), microUSB, a jack 3.5 mm, and A-GPS and Bluetooth, now in version 3.0. Finally Nokia also focuses on social networks with direct access to networks Facebook, Twitter, and RenRen on the home screen with the Social Customer.
The Nokia C6-01 uses the new version of Symbian that offers including support for multiple home screens, multi-tasking visual or gestural interactions. Users receive free Ovi map and access to Ovi Store, and their messaging.
