APPEARANCE AND DESIGN
The design of the Qtek 8310 is a success. Its black on the front and gray on the sides and rear give a special touch to this smartphone. If it does not compete with the latest ultra flat terminals, it benefits from a reasonable size and it is very easy to use. The result is very pleasing. The keys are wide enough and perfectly meet the orders. The navigation joystick is sturdy and precise.
Front, the 8310 provides a screen displaying 65,536 colors effective resolution of 240 x 320 pixels (QVGA). The dimensions of the screen reaches 34 * 45 mm and a diagonal of 57 mm. Nothing to say, the screen will display lots of information and offer you excellent visibility. Located just below the screen, there are 4 buttons: 2 buttons' function ', a key host' and a button 'Back'. Regulars of Windows Mobile will be at ease.
The keyboard is successful. The keys are easily accessible and do not slip. In addition to alphanumeric keys, and keys 'win' / 'hang up', there are two dedicated buttons for functions 'directory' and 'messages'.

The Qtek 8310 includes a mini editor that lets you edit photos by rotating, cropping or choosing the 'AutoCorrect'. As we saw earlier, the 8310 has no flash for night shots, but a night mode that will not take pictures when the night is total, but is effective in urban areas (in the presence of street lights).

The tests show a good rendering of images on the phone screen. For cons, the picture quality when transmitted over the PC is pretty average. The contours are far from precise and photos are terribly missing finesse. The manufacturer has much work to provide the level of rendering images.
The 8310 also has a video function that incorporates most of the available settings for the camera. Among the specifics, we discussed the possibility to choose the encoder. Very good idea from Qtek leaving the choice of video format to the user: MPEG-4, Motion JPEG AVI or H .263.
